"Poetry: Righteous Path" by kk
The wondering soul lost in the dark
How would I walk through the heaven’s arc
I stand before a sea of Gordian knot(s)
Untie only one, but I fear a foul shot
Which faith will lead to salvation
Which God will lead to elation
I ponder on my own creation
Why am I here; I need an explanation
One religion claiming superiority on another
They go against God’s law: to love all other
Win in one and you lose in another
There is no way you can go any further
Rise above the illusion and look at the whole
You will find the answer lying within your soul
God is one but is seen in countless faces
Call Him by any name; all he embraces
This is how it goes in one of Shakespear’s prose
“What’s in a name? That which we call a rose
By any other word would smell as sweet”
Call Him from your heart and He will meet
To drench your soul in eternal spiritual bath
Lead a life that follows the righteous path
Love unselfishly and do good deeds
Unselfish love is where heaven seeds
Become one with the sempiternal soul
There is where you will know your role
You will find yourself in Brahmananda bliss
And so, your religion is where your love is

"We all want to be the best we can be, but how many of
us can say we are truly objective?
You have read this poem, now let the poet know how you feel, and comment
truly.
As nice as it is to read "great poem"
it does not make us better and does not give us an indication of what
made it great.
Not all of us are literature students, remember to comment on things
like style, subject and form.
So leave a comment, and help others in this community"
